WARNING: DRIVERS WHO LIVE AND OWN A DRIVING LICENCE OUTSIDE EUROPEAN UNION SHOULD ALSO OWN AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENCE IN ORDER TO PROCEED ANY RENTAL OF ANY VEHICLE.
AGE REQUIREMENT: For groups A, B, C, C1, D, D1 drivers must be over 21 years of age. For any other vehicle group, min age of the driver must be 25.
PAYMENT METHOD: For all groups a valid Credit Card Visa or MasterCard accepted by Pier1, must be shown for all necessary pre-authorization amounts as well as pre-payments and settlement of final rental charges.
DRIVING LICENSE: A valid driving license held for at least one year is required from the driver.
MINIMUM RENTAL – DEPOSIT: No deposit required for credit card holders, honoured by the Lessor. The minimum rental is one day (24hours). Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate. For over three hours excess, the renter is charged with an additional daily rate.
TRAFFIC FINES: All fines resulting from the drivers conduct are born solely by the renter.
INSURANCE: All authorized drivers of Pier1 vehicles are covered against Liability Insurance to Third Party death, injury, and property. Both coverages are subject to General Terms of the Pier1 insurance contract with its Insurer.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW): The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle, can be reduced, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated, to a minimum charge of €600 for groups A, B, C, C1, D, €800 for groups D1, D2, E, F, F1, M, €1,200 for groups M1, W, H, G, L, by paying 12€, 16€, €20 per day respectively.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER/S: Additional Driver is free of charge.
REFUELLING SERVICE CHARGE: €20.00
BABY SEATS: Available on request free of charge.
FLEET AVAILABILITY: The Company reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved of an equivalent or higher model type.
FERRY RESTRICTIONS: Allowed only with prior written agreement with Pier1. Please note that any damage to the vehicle in transit will be not covered by any insurance.

TAXES: All rates and charges in this brochure are subjected to 24% V.A.T. At some offices a municipal tax of 0.5% is added to the rental rate.
